What customers say?

“ I'm a huge fan of old houses converted into restaurants; there's a certain charm to them that I find irresistible. This particular place not only boasts the allure of a historic casa, but it also serves delectable Filipino cuisine that I absolutely adore. The ambiance further adds to the overall dining experience, creating a nostalgic and cozy atmosphere. However, it's essential to note a downside: at times, the service here tends to be a bit slow, requiring frequent follow-ups on your order. Despite this minor setback, the culinary delights, especially the buko pie, make it all worthwhile. I highly recommend giving it a try; the promise of a delightful dining experience awaits! ”

“ Went here for a romantic date. The place never fails to give that vibe. Great options of Filipino food. Staff was also accommodating and kind. Unfortunately, our order took a while to be served, and the soup was not hot enough. We had to have it heated again. Anyhow, we enjoyed our meal. ”

“ The top restaurant that I visited during my Davao trip! They serve Filipino cuisine. For the quality of the food that you're getting, it's really affordable! My favorites were the Suha salad, Paella, and Ang Bulli. We paid using credit card. You should also try the Durian Cheesecake! We went here a day before and they were fully booked, so we opted to make a lunch time reservation instead. ”

“ Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. The food was reasonably priced and had good portions. The Ala Pobre steak and palabok is a must. Although the beef salpicao was too oily for my taste, I had a great time overall. 10/10 will come back. ”

“ If you're not from Davao City and you want to taste Filipino food at an upscale joint, then this is the place to go. The food for me was delicious! Each meal that they served was well marinated causing the food to be packed with flavor! Although, I would recommend not going here if you're already hungry as the serving time took quite a while (almost 30mins) because they cook everything as you order guaranteeing freshly cooked meals. As for the interior of the place, its a bit cramped for me since the distance between the other tables is not that spaced out so you can easily pick up gossip from the other table. If youre coming in a big group, i would recommend booking their private dining areas for a more intimate and private dining experience and if youre just coming to eat here in general, i would recommend getting a reservation in advance. Overall, Highly recommended! I cannot wait to go back and taste more of their dishes! ”

“ Got to be a 5 stars and we went there 2 times in consecutive evening. We were very pleased with the food, especially the dishes on the first day, while second evening the grilled dishes were cold already as think they were full house on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is the best, clean, neat and good AC with cloth napkin, flower, candle and all. Price wise is reasonably cheap for such restaurant setup. Must go! See the dishes for yourself! ”

“ I had a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. Tola restaurant beautifully showcases traditional Filipino architecture, with wooden details and classic design that reflect heritage and culture. The place feels very cozy and welcoming, making it perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality time with friends or family. The food was excellent! well prepared and flavorful. I also did my chess photography at the restaurant, and the setting was ideal. The natural lighting and rustic ambiance added character to my photos and made the shoot more meaningful. Thank you for the wonderful experience, Tola! ”

“ The overall experience was great — beautiful environment and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a date or a casual, pleasant meal. The restaurant is popular, so booking in advance is recommended. Service was friendly and attentive. Among the restaurants I visited in the Davao, this one stands out for its elegant setting and good food quality. Prices are reasonable, around 1,000 PHP per person. The low-temp beef was delicious, and the mango shake was fresh, though a bit too sweet for my taste. Some service details could be improved, but overall, it’s one of the few refined dining spots in Davao. ”
